New This Year! 5 Ones to Watch awards! To mark the 25th Anniversary of the Pastel 100 Competition, we’re pleased to announce five (5) special “Ones to Watch” awards to be given to five artists who have never before had work appear in a Pastel 100. Awards will be determined by the Pastel Journal editorial team, selected from qualifying artists among the 100 finalists. Special thanks to Dakota Art Pastels for sponsoring the prizes for the “Ones to Watch” winners, who will each receive two different 28-stick sets of Blue Earth Pastels (total value $100+). In addition, the five winners will be featured in a special section of the Spring 2024 Pastel 100 edition of Pastel Journal magazine. Plus! All prize winners and 65 Honorable Mentions will have their names and winning artwork featured in the Spring 2024 issue of Pastel Journal, will receive an Artists Network Membership for 1 year ($99.99 value) and a digital award-winner badge.
